What is a Leadership Mastermind?

My masterminds are based on John C. Maxwell’s books The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership and Developing the Leader Within You 2.0. I am a certified Independent Executive Director in the John Maxwell organization.

The purpose of a mastermind group is to bring together like-minded people who are dedicated and motivated to making effective and lasting changes to their lives in a collective group. The mastermind meets an hour a week, once a week. The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership is ten weeks and The Developing the Leader Within You 2.0 is six weeks. The meetings are confidential and run professionally with a curriculum and complete respect for each participant’s privacy as well as complete respect for how each participant’s time is exercised.

There is a level of commitment on our part to deliver the best material to you in the allotted time with the utmost standards of professionalism as well as a level of commitment on your part to come to each meeting on time, prepared and with a positive attitude. As we move through each lesson, as a group we will bring together our ideas and opinions that will help shape and mold our understanding of the material in a way that is far superior to simply reading a book on your own. We will be combining all of our minds to becoming a mastermind.

Your expectation of the 10-week 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership study will be to increase your awareness and understanding of how to evolve into an effective leader – raising your leadership lid to a new level. Your expectation of the 6-week Developing the Leader Within You 2.0 will be to build your leadership framework and foundation.

Each week we cover approximately two chapters in the book of focus. Lessons are discussed and questions asked. The real power comes in discussing suggested applications from the previous week’s chapters. You get out of the mastermind what you wish you could get out of reading the book alone.

Testimonials on Masterminds

As someone who is 22 and has never been in a leadership role, this success group has been fantastic for me. Dave and the whole mastermind group I’m a part of has helped me more than anyone will ever truly know.

I think there are many women who, like me, have become leaders by default – either because of family or marriage. I really can’t explain how exciting it’s been to realize I need to raise my lid – and to learn how to do it.
