By now, y'all are no doubt aware of the steps that the FTC took in regards to online reviews and product information. In the spirit of full disclosure I feel it's is necessary to reveal the following shocking news: I have received books from agents and publishers free of charge!
Yes, it's true. I hope that the relationship that I've built over the years with all of my guests here, will weather this tumultuous storm. I have however, placed my personal items in order and am prepared to deal with my scandalous actions. If that means time behind bars to make restitution for my civic sins, then so be it.
Okay, time to stop this kind of talk. I get the feeling in some weird Outer Limits sort of way, that a black suburban will soon pull up with six guys dressed like Jake and Elwood who will get out and ask me to take a ride if I continue to carry on like this.
For the official record, I have accepted books to be potentially reviewed, for free. I have never reviewed a book online that I didn't believe in nor one I wouldn't recommend in a heartbeat regardless if I paid for it or not.

Scandalous! The sunglasses in your pic should have tipped us off. :)

The real risk is if Jake and Elwood were to come along, will it be the real Jake and Elwood, how would you know, how would we know, would they ever bring you back, would you take them on a starship journey, would you ever come back, how would we know ...

Well Dick, I did have the foresight to see this coming :-)
We'd do a little Rubber Biscuit Steve as we loaded up their cruiser on the Starship. I'd beam back from time to time :-)
